Swatch: OPI Need Sunglasses?

Happy Tuesday! I'm in a super good mood becuase my soccer team won our first game against one of the hardest teams in the state 2-0 today! Go Pirates! I've been loving this Chicago weather lately and I wanted to do a bright yellow. This is not one of my polishes, but
OPI's Need Sunglasses? is a bright sunflower yellow.

Application:  Like most yellows this was SOO sheer, these pictures are 5 coats and there is still VNL. Next time I will use a white or nude base coat. Besides the sheerness, application was pretty easy, fast drying and glossy. Clean up was a little hard, but this is an alright yellow. I feel like some of the china glaze yellows are more opaque and will probably splurge on one of those instead of this color.

Happy Polishing (:

Oh and keep an eye out for my upcoming giveaway! With spring break just around the corner I'll have it up soon!

  1. So bright and pretty! This looks great with your skin tone. I don't know how it would look on me but I kind of want to try it!

  2. I'm betting this one would be more suitable for nail art than all over wear. You really do have the skin tone to rock the yellows tho - not many ppl do!

  4. The more modern reflective coatings on Mirror Sunglasses usually have several layers making them more durable and less likely to become scratched. While these sunglasses may be more expensive, you often get what you pay for when purchasing sunglasses.
