New Hues Series | Suite Eleven Ken Collection (Fall 2019)

It's been a minute since I have tried a new brand, but today I am bringing you the latest in my New Hues Series from Suite Eleven!

Hello Lovelies! Today I am bringing you guys the next installment of my New Hues Series! I first saw Suite Eleven polishes pop up on my Instagram feed this past summer, and I knew that I had to give them a try because they are another wonderful vegan, cruelty free and 10-free brand (and also based in NYC where I live! 

Founded in 2018 by Arieal “Ari” Smith-Liburd, Suite Eleven is a luxury nail care brand that offers a vibrant, non-toxic and affordable option for beauty enthusiasts everywhere.

My Review of the Suite Eleven Ken Collection

As I have mentioned in previous posts, I love doing these kinds of posts because I love supporting small businesses and W/POC if possible! That is something I love so much about Suite Eleven - so I can't wait to share my swatches with you all. 

Overall, I thought the formula on these was nice, and the colors are gorgeous for so Fall vibes. If you're not used to cream polishes from indie brands -- they are thicker than mainstream creams -- but if you know how to work that then you'll be a champ with these beautiful creams. But let's get into the swatches.

EAST COAST WEST COAST | East Coast West Coast is a baby pastel blue creme -- and not really a color I would normally peg as a fall color. However, this has a dash of dustiness that, when paired with the other polishes in this collection, is something I can really see myself wearing this season! I got this one opaque in 2-3 coats, and as I mentioned above the formula is a little thicker on these indie cream polishes, but it wasn't too difficult for me to work with! 

TEA TIME | Tea Time is a pale mint-meets-sage creme, and soooo perfect for fall! I love that this light green is a little warmer and dustier than typical "mint" shades. I loved the look of this, and got it fully opaque in 2-3 coats! Same formula as above,  a little thicker but it wasn't too difficult for me to work with!

NY WHO? | NY Who? is a khaki green creme -- but on me looks a little less khaki and a little more fern green. Greens are some of my favorite polishes in the fall, and I have already been wearing this around now that the weather is cooler! I got this easily opaque in 2 coats, and the formula perfect; super smooth and buttery.

BROWN-ISH | Brown-ish is a deep chocolate creme, and my fav in the collection. I always drool over dark almost-black shades, and this brown is no different! I also got this one opaque in 2 coats with a really wonderful formula!
