New Hues Series | Orosa Desert Garden Collection Swatch and Review [Spring 2020]

Step into the desert sun with Orosa's beautiful Desert Garden collection! These six-shades are perfect for the hot days ahead of us and I am so excited to share them with you.

My Thoughts on the Desert Garden Collection

Hello lovelies! I have been hard at work -- on my Instagram -- and I have let my blog posts pile up! But, I am working through all of the photos now and I am excited to share these gorgeous Orosa polishes with you all.

Orosa is 14-free, vegan, cruelty-free, and gluten-free! All the stuff we love over here at jackiemontt.com!

The Orosa Desert Garden Collection is inspired by the desert blooms of spring and summer. This is a 6 piece collection made up of all cream polishes.

This was the first time I used Orosa polishes, and I have to admit, they have me hooked! I loved the inspiration, and the formula is really easy to work with. You will see in my photos that all of these creams have a glossy finish - I didn't use top coat for any of the photos - and I will definitely be keeping this brand on my mind for future collections! This one was sent to my by the brand - BUT after I had picked up 3 of these already, so I ended up doing a giveaway for them over on my IG. Another reason for you to head over and follow if you don't already!

Now on to the swatches...

Swatches of the Orosa Desert Garden Collection

DESERT ROSE | Desert Rose is described as a bright pink with violet undertones. Something has shifted in me, and I am really loving these kinds of cool-toned pinks! I also this this polish just looks sooo juicy on the nails and have reached for this a few times since getting it. I got full opacity in 3 coats.

SUPER BLOOM | Super Bloom is described as a muted apricot. This is such a unique color - I at first thought it was a brown, but I see the muted apricot and warm rich tones mixed in here and I am in love with the way it looks on its own, as well as paired with the other polishes in this collection. The formula on Super Bloom was really great and I got full opacity in 2-3 coats.

SAGUARO | Saguaro is described as a deep cactus green, and I can think of no description better than that! It is such a deep green, but not like a forest green if that makes sense? It's more deep and warm than a forest or evergreen shade, and it's perfect for this collection. I got full opacity 2 easy coats.

WILDFLOWER | Wildflower is described as a vibrant red with a hint of pink. This is such a unique red to my collection - and I love how vibrant it is on the nails! When I wear this it really pops in the sunlight, and will be a summer favorite for me this year! I got this opaque in 3 coats - BUT this will stain your nails, so be sure to double up on base coat.

DUNE | Dune is described as a chocolate milk nude, and I feel like this looks exactly like a glass of chocolate milk! I love it, and I don't really have any browns that are similar to Dune. I got full opacity in 2 coats, and you can see it dries a smidgen darker on the nail than it looks in the bottle.

SKY | Sky is described as a bright, periwinkle blue. This is another great light blue - nothing unique, but it is a really great polish. I got it fully opaque in 3 coats.

Final thoughts on the Orosa Desert Garden Collection

Well, how beautiful are those?! I love how they look at paired together and on their own as well. Overall, this was really a great first experience working with Orosa polishes.

I love the shape of these bottles, the formula on these are pretty good aka nothing too spectacular, but they are really lovely and polishes that I will reach for often! I think the 3 coaters will also become 2 coaters as I use them and they get a little thicker.

My favorites are Wildflower, Desert Rose and Super Bloom! Let me know your favorites in teh comments below.

Again I was gifted this collection, but all 6 shades are still available on www.orosabeauty.com for $12 per bottle or $62 for the full set (on sale!)
