Sometimes a clean slate is exactly what's needed to break into a new year with a new outlook. The Morgan Taylor Out In The Open collection is all about embracing color in a way that gives us a fresh take as we head into a new year determined to make it a great one!

My Thoughts on the Morgan Taylor Out In The Open Collection for Spring 2021

Happy weekend friends! Today I am sharing my swatch and review of the latest Morgan Taylor collection for Spring 2021. The Out In The Open Collection is a six-piece collection that is meant to be a breathe of fresh air now that Spring is near and we're about to shed our winter blues.

This is a collection that is really light and sweet - and while I am usually really in to brights, I think this really is a wonderful collection and I was so excited to wear these polishes.

Pinks have not historically been my go-to color, maybe it's because Valentine's Day is tomorrow, or pink is just something I like now, but I am so obsessed with this collection as a whole and with layering some of the toppers over the creams in the collection!

I was sent this collection by Morgan Taylor - but that doesn't change that fact that I love love love Morgan Taylor polishes and their amazing formula.

All of these polishes are available to purchase online, when you click the link on the Morgan Taylor website, it sends you to Amazion - so you can find these all there now!

Now on to the swatches...

Swatches of the Morgan Taylor Out In The Open Collection for Spring 2021

NO LIMITS | No Limits is a pink sheer polish with a gold pearl shimmer. This polish is so sweet - it is perfect for getting me in the Valentine's Day mood! I used 3 coats of this polish on its own, and 1 coat over Keep It Simple down below!

DANCIN' IN THE SUNLIGHT | Dancin In The Sunlight is a white iridescent glitter - this one reminds of a beautiful pearl on my nails! I am really obsessed with the little flecks of pink and sea-foam green that peek out of this polish. I used 3 coats for this photo.

IN THE CLOUDS | In The Clouds is the dreamiest most perfect light light grey/blue polish of my dreams! I am already imagining this polish is sooo many nail art looks....what kind of designs would you want to see me do with this?! The formula on these creams is so amazing and I got this easily opaque in 2 coats

KEEP IT SIMPLE | Keep It Simple is a dusty soft pink cream - and just as the name calls for, a simple and gorgeous pink. There isn't much more to say about the color - but again the formula is incredible, I mean like almost a one coater, but I got this easily opaque in 2 coats

BE FREE | Be Free is a rosy mauve cream, and is deeper and warmer than Keep It Simple. This one feels like a classic pink that you probably have in your collection, but if you are in the market for something like this - the formula is really great! Once again, incredible formula that I got opaque in 2 coats.

TAKE TIME & UNWIND | Take Time & Unwind is a cinnamon red cream polish - this one is like a beautiful burnt red, with a touch of brown added in. I think it might be a close dupe for some of the KL Polishes or other brick reds, and I am honestly head over heels for this polish in this collection! I got this one easily opaque in 2 coats as well.

Final Thoughts on the Morgan Taylor Out In The Open Collection

Alright what do you think? I think I said it all at the top - I really love this collection which is a surprise to me! There really was only 1 color that I felt meh about and I can totally send that to my mom and she will get so much use out of it.

I also think I have found a KL dupe which I love since I am trying to clear those polishes out of my collection.

My fav has to be the first topper, Dancin' In The Sunlight - it's just so beautiful on it's own or over other polishes. It gives me such Valentine's Day vibes and I am living for that these day!

Let me know your favorites down below.

Again, you can pick all f these polishes up now; they are $9.50 a bottle on Amazon, Beyond Polish, Sally Beauty and Polish Pick just to name a few places.
