My Thoughts on the China Glaze Trolls World Tour Collection

Hello loves! Happy Thursday, I hope you all are holding up! Today I am coming at you with a little bit of a delayed blog post on the China Glaze Trolls World Tour Collection

I know this collection (and this movie) has been out for a minute, but I just love all the bright colors and still wanted to share my thoughts.

So first of all, I am obsessed with this collection and the movie that inspired it! I virtually watched this movie with my niece (me in NYC and her in Chicago) and it was such a fun experience and the movie was so much fun! I can't wait until I can pain her nails with Pink-In-Poppy after her favorite character.

This collection is made up of 8 brand new polishes to China Glaze, five cream, and three glitters! Of course all the names are inspired by the different trolls throughout the movie, so be sure to drop your favorite character down in the comments!

Now for the swatches....

Swatches of the China Glaze Trolls World Tour Collection

CAN'T STOP BRANCHIN' | Can’t stop, won't stop with this turquoise satin! In so many pictures this shade looked like a much deeper turquoise, but on me it pulled lighter and dustier. I got it fully opaque in 2 coats.

CHILL IN SYMPHONYVILLE | This light blue shimmer matte shade is absolutely instrumental in achieving classic style. I do love how angelic and airy this polish feels on the nails, but I personally don't wear matte polish very often, so not sure how much use I will get out of this one. I used 3-4 coats for basically full opacity.

PINK-IN-POPPY | Hit the dance floor with a playful poppy of pink iridescent glitter! I didn't think I would like this because...well I don't like glitters or pink usually....but how CUTE is this polish?! I got this fully opaque in 3 regular coats, but you could build it up quicker if you sponge on a top layer!

FUNKY BEAT | We’re getting good vibrations from this vibrant purple crème that’s equal parts funky and fun. This is a real crelly in every way, and a gorgeous polish for spring and summer! It is just so vibrant and fun. I got it to full opacity in 2-3 coats.

NO-HOLDS BARB | Rock on in this rebellious red jelly lacquer that’s inspired by Queen Barb's edgy style. This is a super opaque jelly, but you can still see my nail line after 3 coats, so I will still call this one a jelly.

DELTA DARLIN' | This peppy pastel orange crème will have you doing the two-step from dusk till Delta Dawn! This one is named after Kelly Clarkson's troll, and I was obsessed with her, and I am not even really a country fan haha. I do love peachy shades for spring, and this one has a nice little pinch of brightness that you don't typically see in peachy pastels. I got this opaque in 3 coats.

IT'S ALL TECHNO | Let the base coat drop before you layer on this electric chartreuse crème. Yes yes yes for my favorite polish in the collection! I love a good chartreuse anything so this was the polish for me! I love the color so so much, and I got it opaque in 3 thin coats.

GLITTER-IFFIC | Small package, big sparkle! Just like Tiny Diamond, this silver holographic glitter is diminutive yet dazzling. I mean, who doesn't love a holo topper, or on its own! I just love the dimension that you can create with this polish, and I used 3 coats for these photos.

Final Thoughts on the China Glaze Trolls World Tour Collection

So there are my swatches and review of each polish! I think overall most of these required more coats than I would have liked, but I love the color combos that this collection brings out so I feel like that kind of makes up for it.

I would have to say my favorites are It's All Techno and surprisingly Pink-In-Poppy! Which ones do you like best? Let me know in the comments!

I picked these up from my favorite go-to online shop polishpick.com for $3.25 each, and you just cannot beat that price! If you are ever looking for discounted polishes, make sure you stop there for a peak!
