Y.N.B.B. = (Your Nails But Better) is a timeless collection of your new go-to nudes!

My Thoughts on the Lights Lacquer Y.N.B.B. Collection

Hello loves! I hope you are all doing well and still holding up in quarantine. Today I am so excited to be sharing my swatch and review of the new Lights Lacquer Y.N.B.B. Collection

This is the spring 2020 collection from Kathleen Lights, and is probably the most unique spring collection that I have gotten this year!

Y.N.B.B. stands for Your Nails But Better, and is comprised of 6 of your new go-to nudes! Lights Lacquer says that "each shade was created with complexion in mind to enhance, yet compliment all skin tones, giving you a sleek, polished look! It's like you're nails but better!"

Now you might be looking at this collection and think, huh none of those look like they would be my "perfect nude". Well, like foundation releases, Kathleen has announced that additional shades will be coming out, so if your perfect nude is not in this collection - fear not! more will be coming in the future. But I do want to note that you don't have to match these polishes perfectly, I personally loved all the shades in this collection, and they all had a different vibe on me!

Now onto the swatches...

Swatches of the Lights Lacquer Y.N.B.B. Collection

MILA | Mila is described as an ivory with cool undertones, and I think that is spot on. I loved this polish on me and I always feel like off-white, or bone colored shades like this really look clean on me personally. All of Kathleen's polishes have an amazing formula, and I got this easily opaque 2 coats.

MATILDA | Matilda is described as a soft beige with yellow undertones. I am between Matilda and Lyla for my perfect nude... I feel like maybe Matilda is my winter shade and Lyla is my summer shade like foundation haha. Again, got this easily opaque in 2 coats.

LYLA | Lyla is described as a neutral tan with hint of pink undertones. As I mentioned above, I think Lyla is me perfect summer nude! It is slightly too pink for me, but I still think this is a pretty spot on match. Back again with a stunning formula, I got this opaque in 2 coats.

EMMA | Emma is described as a warm tan with orange undertones. This one really pulls caramel on me, but I think for me, it'll be a really good color for fall! Wonderful formula as always, I got it fully opaque in 2 coats.

ALYANNA | Alyanna is described as a deep cool toned chocolate brown. When I look at this polish, I think of whipped chocolate mousse or chocolate pudding, and I LOVE that. This polish just looks delicious on me personally. I got this one easily opaque in 2 coats.

OLIVIA | Olivia is described as a rich espresso brown with hint of red undertones. I just love this deep brown on me, it reminds me of espresso, which is a must have for me! I think this is going to be a great shade for me in the fall and winter. There was a bit of a crelly feel to this polish, but I did get it opaque in 2 coats

Final thoughts on the Lights Lacquer Y.N.B.B. Collection

So, what are your thoughts on this collection? I know that some people were disappointed to not have color from Lights Lacquer this spring, but I was happy to have a slightly different collection to review!

I also love the idea of having a bunch of shades that can work on me and all my friends if they want the ~perfect nude~ mani (whenever it is that I can do my friend's nails again...)

I think my favorites are probably Mila and Lyla, what are your favorites?

I bought this collection from lightslacquer.com for $52 for the bundle, but you can also get each bottle for $9.50 each.
