New York Nails Inspired by Keith Haring

It's been 1 year since I picked up and moved to New York City, the city that never sleeps (true), and in honor of that I created these New York nails inspired by my favorite artist Keith Haring.

Keith Haring Inspired New York Nail Art

Hello lovelies! As I mentioned above, this month marks the one-year anniversary of my moving to New York. It's been a wild year, with many, many, ups and downs. To celebrate lasting a year in this city, I have created these Keith Haring inspired New York nails.

Keith Haring is one of my favorite artists, and his pop art and graffiti-like work grew out of the New York City street culture of the 1980s. He wanted his art to be seen by the people of New York City and beyond, so he would create his drawings quickly, on blank advertisement spaces, in subway stations.

Products used:

-White: Mosi Mei 'Innocent'
-Red: Zoya 'Karen'
-Dark Green: China Glaze 'Activewear Don't Care' + KL Polish 'Mojito'
-Lime Green: KL Polish '305'
-Yellow: China Glaze 'Werk It Honey!'
-Black: Acrylic paint

Honestly, I don't think I could describe the how-to for this look. I looked up photos of some of Keith Harring's art -- and basically recreated it on my nails. My major inspiration for this many, started out when I saw a shirt with this logo on it.

And you can see it directly translated on the nails below!

If you made it this far, thank you so much. I really appreciate anyone who takes the time to read my blog. If you like what you see -- please comment down below!
