My Thoughts on the Zoya Lucious Collection for Fall 2020

Happy fall ladies and gentlemen! It is finally my favorite time of the year!! And while the global pandemic will have me celebrating fall differently this year, I am still pumped about the fall collections that have been release and the ones that are coming.

Today I am bringing you my swatch and review of the Zoya Lucious Collection for Fall 2020! This collection is packed with 12 dark and sultry polishes that are screaming my name for fall. I seriously am ready for these autumn shades, and can't wait to hear which ones you're all excited about.

These are all out now at zoya.com, so go pick up your favorite shades today!

Now on to the swatches...

Swatches of the Zoya Lucious Collection

WANDA | Wanda can best be described as a cool-toned rouge pink with a gold and rainbow micro-shimmer. This shade is soo cute, but not really one I would peg as a "fall" shade... That being said, it had a nice formula and was opaque in 3 thin coats.

PATRICE | Patrice can best be described as a neutral blush with a rainbow and gold micro-shimmer. I love how soft this polish feels on my nails! I think it is stunning for fall. I got it easily opaque in 3 coats.

TERESA | Teresa can best be described as a deep purple toned ruby metallic. I think colors like this don't make me look great, but it had a nice formula that got easily opaque in 2-3 coats.

BENTLEY | Bentley can best be described as a deepened grape cream. I really don't reach for colors like this often, I don't know why, but Zoya has quite a few purples like this that I plan to do comparisons of so stay tuned! I got this easily opaque in 2 coats.

SHARON | Sharon can best be described as a red-toned wild berry cream. This is another shade that Zoya has a lot of similar shades to, and again not a color family I reach for a lot, idk why! Sharon had a thinner formula for a cream, tbh it felt like a crelly formula, and I got it opaque in 3 coats.

LISA | Lisa can best be described as a rich garnet red cream. Okay....I hate to say it but again this is not a color I reach for a lot! It just is not up my alley, but I think paired with other polishes I would like it (or used in nail art). This cream does stain you nails and skin, so be careful! But it has a great formula and I got it opaque in 2 coats.

SOLEIL | Soleil can best be described as a warm sparkling cider metallic. YES YES YES to this yummy copper gold metallic. I am in love with polishes like this, it's kind of foil-y, and exactly the type of color I reach for during fall. The formula on this was great, super easy to use and evened out well. I got it fully opaque in 2 easy coats.

TASHA | Tasha can best be described as a sensual brunette brown metallic. Yes again!! Man I really am a fan these warm browns and I think this color is just so beautiful on me, and I can't wait for sweaters and this deep brown! It also has a wonderful formula and I got it basically opaque 1 coat, but I did 2 since my nails are a little dry and ridegy at the moment.

ANDREA | Andrea can best be described as a cool-toned, duo-chrome metallic with a purple and green shift. Okayyy starting your day off with my FAVORITE polish in this collection! I love multichromes, and oil slick ones have a special place in my heart! This was another polish that was opaque on the first coat, but I did 2 for this photo due to my ridgey nails.

LOU | Lou can best be described as a deep spruce blue cream with a kiss of green. A dusty blue? Sign me up! This is a really pretty dusty dark blue, and again a really great fall shade for me. The formula on this one was easy for me to use and I got it opaque in 1-2 coats.

TOMMY | Tommy can best be described as a blue toned slate grey cream. Okay so another dusty blue, but I think this color makes me look yellow and washes me out lol which makes me sad because it is such a cute color! Anyway, the formula was good, not great on this one. I needed to work it a little bit to get it evened out on me but it was opaque in 2 coats.

MEL | Mel can best be described as a slightly muted forest green. The description is pretty spot on. Is this the most unique color? No. Is it stunning an beautiful and gorgeous still? Yes. I reallllly love this green and I think it was so easy and buttery to use! I got full opacity in 2 coats.

Final Thoughts on the Zoya Lucious Collection for Fall 2020

Alright, my first fall swatch and review is done! You all probably know by now that I love Zoya polishes and I really like this collection! There were definitely some polishes in this collection that didn't pair well with my skin tone, but overall it was a wonderful collection and you cannot go wrong if you pick some of these up!

My favorites have to be Andrea, Soleil, and Lou! Let me know your favorites in the comments down below!

You can purchase these polishes for $10 each, or in a bunch of different bundle options on the Zoya website! This is the first time I have seen them do pre-curated trios, which is super cool, and those retail for $30. You can, like always, get the A Sampler or B Sampler for $60, and the whole set is $120.
