OPI | Iceland Collection Swatches (Fall/Winter 2017)

Hello Lovelies! Today I am excited to share with you my swatches of the beautiful OPI Iceland collection!

I have to say this is probably only the 3rd time I've used their Infinite Shine formula, and I absolutely love the shine. If you know me at all, you know matte nails are not my cup of tea.

Anyways, we're all here for the swatches so.......

I’ll Have A Gin & Tectonic | This peachy shade you would never expect to see in a fall/winter collection, but this cool toned peach fits right in with the Iceland feel. This color was a tad runny, but I was able to get this with 2 medium coats. 

Reykjavik Has All The Hot Spots | I have been a sucker for metallic shimmers lately from ever brand so I knew I'd love this deep cool-toned rose polish. As you can see in the photos, there are some brush lines, and it doesn't settle all the way, but that doesn't bother me. You could get away with one coat here, but I did 2 to hide my nail line. 

One Heckla Of A Color! |  This is another color you'd never expect to see in a fall or winter collection, and it really reminds me of "Play Date" by Essie. Although this dark lilac color doesn't scream fall for me it was still super beautiful. 2 coats for this photo. 

Aurora Berry-alis | First of all this name is everything, I love it. This is a pretty pink-berry crelly (creme/jelly) The formula was great on this, 2 coats for the photo, but this is not a color I usually go for and I gifted it to my mom who is already IN LOVE with it. 

Turn On The Northern Lights! | GUYS this is the CLEAR star of this collection. This beautiful blue leaning purple has fire red and gold shimmers in it and is the most beautiful fall and winter color. I used 3 thin coats to build this up and get a great shine and display of shimmers.

Less Is Norse | This is a dusty navy blue shade, and I didn't think I'd like it as much as I do. The color is super rich even though it leans grey which usually makes me like polishes less. This was 2 coats.

Check Out The Old Geysirs | This is a light blue with a hint of grey mixed in there, and then packed with blue iridescence. I loved this color so much, but the shimmer only really pops in direct light both natural and florescent. It did take me 3 coats to even this out, and the polish can look grainy because of the iridescence. 

This Isn’t Greenland | Wow, this light dusty moss green reminds me of the colors of pistachios. Since I have olive undertones, greens like this always bring me joy. This color was a little thin, and I had to used 3 coats for photos, but the color pay off is worth it. 

Icelanded a Bottle of OPI  | This is a creamy cool-toned greige (grey/beige) on me. The formula on this went on super smooth, and wasn't patchy which I've encountered with similar shades in the past. 2 coats for photo. 

That’s What Friends Are Thor | This is a deep warm chocolate brown that went on easy with 2 coats. You can see the red tone in this polish so it really reads brown from afar. 

Krona-logical Order | This color really surprised me, I originally thought that it was both too close to "That's what Friends are Thor" and "Suzi and the Arctic Fox" but this is such a unique color and the cool-toned brown leans blue on me and I honestly fell in love with it. 2 easy coats for photos.

Suzi And The Arctic Fox | This blue-grey-purple-dusty color is exactly the kinds of shades I love to see OPI coming out with. I loved the uniqueness of this color and how it was chameleon like in different lighting. 2 easy coats for photos. 

Overall, I think this was a super strong collection, and all the formulas performed great on me. Of the one's I have been able to try, they have stayed on my nails for days with no chips or cracks. These do come in the regular lacquer formula for $2 less.
